Brilliant Bread

A simple, easy to understand introduction to the art of bread-making.

You will learn how to produce one or two loaves either by hand and/or with the aid of a food mixer.

Amongst other things you’ll learn about the different types of flour, moisture content, the need to knead, surface tension and how to perform a ‘window pane’ test.

For private one-to-one lessons we will use the wonderful beautiful organic flours from Shipton Mill.

Lesson times vary from 1 ½ - 4 hours. Zoom lessons may be split over 2 sessions to enable you to get on with other things whilst the bread proves.
